Establish your AD identity

People will be more inclined to trust your ad once your identity and good reputation has been established. Your ads will give them assurance that the information they receive comes from a reliable source. To establish your ad identity you can develop your own writing style, ad format and use various fonts and graphics; pictures, tables, graphs, logos etc. In a way you are creating your own brand and establishing your brand’s reputation.

Use graphics, different colors and text fonts

Beef up your ad with graphics, colors and fonts to convey your points in a clear concise manner. As they say “a picture is worth 1000 words”. Properly used different size fonts, tastefully combined colors and carefully laid out pictures will no doubt not only help you break away from monotony of the plain text, but will help you to illustrate your product(s) or service(s) more effectively. Graphics will help to make your ad copy more interesting and enticing.

Make an offer they can’t refuse

To make an offer your audience can’t refuse you will have to add as much value to your advertised product or service as you possibly can. Be creative and original.

This includes two vital aspects: Offering something for free and making your ad stand out.

Offer something for free

Provide as much value as possible to gain an edge over your competition. Giving away something free is an excellent way to do this. This can be anything such as software, physical items: t-shirts, pens, posters and so on. It is better if you can find something your target audience will be most interested in.

Make your ad stand out

If you created your own product and/or developed your own website you already started on the way to distinguish yourself from the rest of the online marketers. Likewise, to make your ad stand out do not use the same promotional materials as others, especially when it comes to affiliate programs and areas commonly known to have a strong competition. If you are going to be utilizing same writing methods, and graphics: banners, pop-up windows and other illustrations, you will not achieve any significant results, if at all. And this can have a very devastating effect on your advertising budget.

In a deeper sense this goes back to finding or making a product that no one else is promoting, a product that possesses high intrinsic properties to become very popular. If you can accomplish that then your success will be waiting around the corner.

Be polite and respectful

Treating your audience with no respect will move them to show the same to you. After this your sales presentation is done. Generally, people don't like to be treated like fools or be insulted.

Call to action in a convincing manner

Include an urgent call to action that communicates to your audience in a clear manner what they need to do next.
